REMOVING the INTERNAL PARTS The SLEEVE must come out FIRST! The Sleeve is tight, so you will have to apply heat to the crankcase surrounding the sleeve. Use no more heat than is necessary to pull the sleeve. Use a pair of pliers to grab the edge of the sleeve. Be careful! Do not damage the sleeve. If you have adequate heat, the sleeve will easily slip out.
Once the sleeve is removed, the piston & rod will slip off the crank pin.
NOTE: The dark color on the skirt of your piston is an ANTI-FRICTION Coating! Do not mess with it, or try to remove it. Push the CRANKSHAFT out of the CRANKCASE
