| Your Evolution 26 GT is equiped with a Walbro WT-615 and it's OK for the most part.
But if you want to really wake up your engine then switch your carb to a WT-540
or a WT-610. You won't believe the difference!
Your engine will accellerate FASTER and have a much higher TOPEND A WT-540/WT-610 will litterally bolt on your engine. You will have to adapt a throttle arm to suit your airplane.
After I made a throttle arm, I also made screwdriver guide tubes for easy tuning. The guide tubes are Goldenrod (BLUE) guides. Just cut them to length and push them on. The new carb is equiped with a spring-loaded automatic release choke. I like it, and kept it. But you can install the choke off your original carb if you like. |
NOTE: Walbro WT-540 is a discontinued carb. It is replaced with the WT-610. |
