Next, remove the PROP HUB. It can be very difficult to remove if you don't happen to have a hub puller. If so, simply apply heat to the prop hub around the circumfrence with the torch. This will release it from the locking collar (if it uses one). Lift the hub off with pliers. If your engine has a locking collar, remove it as well.
Put a prop nut on the crankshaft and tap on the nut to release the crankchaft (PHOTO 7). Remove the crankshaft from the backside of the crankcase (PHOTO 8).
